On 21st April(=Japan Standard Time), “Toyohashi Sexual Minorities Event 2013” was held at Toyohashi citizen center.

The day, morning was rain, but afternoon became fine day.
The people who came to the event are mainly classified into two types:
1.Toyohashi citizen that are heterosexual(They looked flyer, had interest, and came).
2.LGBT people that are my friends.
(One of my asexual friend was worrying whether she go or not, but finally she went to the event!)
And newspaper reporter came, too.

The event had two part—macro part and micro part.
On macro part, I explained “What are sexuality and gender?”
Next, I explained various situations of [Coming out], and “Is [Coming out ] necessary?”
(Rehearsal)

Micro part is talk of individual’s sexuality. I and AIZU Rika, talked each sexuality and gender(myself=about asexuality, Aizu Rika=about transsexual).

After micro part, people in the hall, talked face to face. Heterosexual people and LGBT people were talking peacefully.
And, there was person who was gay and foreigner resident in Japan. He talked his situation to people.

22ed April, Tonichi Newspaper(=local newspaper) reported the event.

2013, January 19(Saturday), I went to Nisshin civic hall for Harmony Festa.
My intension is to visit booth of Coalook, that is gender club of Aichi Syukutoku University.
I saw asexual flag on the booth.
And I enjoyed talking with members of Coalook.
I am planning sexual minorities event in Toyohashi on this spring. The thema of the event is “coming out”. So I talked my planning event to them.
One of member(she is heterosexual) talked interesting case.
‘Knowing presence of sexual minorities, is very helpful for me. Because I was under wrong impression about man(For example “Man should be …”) before. But I have known various sexualities, so I can be free from wrong impression.
And she added—‘If person realizes him/herself as sexual minority, it is better that person comes out at beginning of relationship.’

I think that ARAI Shou has confused gender identity and sexual orientaion about asexuality.
I need the money for school. I’m a little bit more okay with getting huge loans for law school, but I need to really try to keep my undergrad debt as small as possible. I’m really lucky that my parents are helping, but they can only do so much.
I wish that one scholarship hadn’t taken down my essay. It was a really good essay, and it was potentially worth $5000, but now, I can’t write any other essay for the same topic (because my essay had the most important lesson I’ve ever learned in it, and I can’t write it another way, and I can’t very well lie), so… I just don’t know what I’m going to do.
I hate money. I know most of the university scholarships are going to people who actually really, really need the money much more than me, so I can’t very well be bitter about not getting much money from my school, but I wish universities weren’t fucked up and would give more money to high-achieving students.

About speaker:Speaker is MAKIMURA Asako(牧村 朝子), nickname is makimuu(まきむぅ). She has been in Paris with her partner(woman), nickname is ’ Mori-girl ‘. Makimuu is lesbian, and not asexual.

At first, she picks up one of comment of viewers of her movie***.
The case of comment: The person, who is FTM, does not like to be forced to join to community of sexual minority.
Makimuu agrees with it deeply(Her voice:’ Aru—aru— ‘).
And she asks to viewers,
’ Is it wrong something— if a person is sexual minority, the person should join community of sexual minority? ‘
’ There are people who enjoy to form crowd in community, it is OK. But there is no reason to press their style to other people. ‘

2012/12/28 Addition:
After I wrote this post, I got a question.
‘The community, that Makimuu talked about the movie, is —closed, introversive, and does not aim to visualize of existence of sexual minorities?’
‘Makimuu may not say about commnunity— that is open-minded, and aims to visualize of existence of sexual minorities.’
Even in the same “community”, the former and the latter meaning is different.
I thought that I had to know true meaning, so I sent mail to Makimuu. She gave me answer. She talked in the movie on the assumption that community is closed, introversive, traditional Japanese-style.
